This fire safety training will teach your staff the risks of fire safety in the workplace and the different fire safety signs. How to recognise possible fire hazards and the different fire extinguisher types and their legal responsibilities.
at the end of this course your staff will be able to
- Fire law and what premises are covered by the legislation, who is responsible for fire safety awareness and the responsibilities of the employer and employee including the Responsible person and their responsibilities.
- Importance of Fire Risk assessments and the duties of the Fire Warden
- Fire safety signs, fire detection and warning systems
- Fire hazards & risks in the workplace, the common causes of fire, how they spread including the Fire Triangle and ways to reduce the risk of fires starting
- Fire extinguishers and their uses including evacuation equipment
- Those at high risk and evacuation procedures, drills and tests including Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEP)
