This training can be delivered at your premises or a combination of zoom and at your
premises.

- Day 1 – Legislation, Back Facts (statistics), Practical Anatomy, Controversial Techniques, Causes of
- Injury, Safe System of Work (Biomechanics, Risk Assessments, Develop practical skills in moving and
- handling techniques including the use of moving and handling equipment used in your care home.
- Day 2 – Recap from Day 1, Theory Test, Training skills, Preparation for Microteaches
- Day 3 – Microteaches
Moving & Handling of People (1 day)
This course will be delivered face to face
- Aims & Objectives

- Safe System of Work (Biomechanics & Ergonomics),
- Risk Assessments,
- Safe Handling Techniques using a variety of equipment used within the home.
Moving & Handling of People Refresher (yearly) 1/2 day
This course will be delivered face to face

- Causes of Injury,
- Safe System of Work (Biomechanics& Ergonomics),
- Risk Assessments,
- Safe Handling Techniques using a variety of equipment used within the home..
Moving & Handling (theory – non-care) 1/2 day
This course can be delivered via zoom or at your premises
