This Person Centred Care training provides your colleagues with the skills to make demonstrable differences to individuals they support. Delivering care that is centred around and tailored to the needs, wishes and preferences of each individual requires additional knowledge, experience and training.
At the end of this course your staff will be able to

- How to implement a person centred approach,
- Understand the importance of establishing consent when providing care or support,
- How to encourage active participation and support an individual’s right to make choices,
- Understand how to promote an individual’s well-being,
- Understand the need for secure handling of information and know how to access support for handling information in social care settings.
